The group of Chris I. De Zeeuw aims to tackle this central theme by investigating signal coding in the regions of the cerebellum and cerebral cortex that are involved in adaptation of eye movements. Special emphasis is put on the interaction between the spatiotemporal pattern of Purkinje cell firing and that of pyramidal cell firing during visual training paradigms.
